Val Venegia – Malga Venegiota
If you love walks with breathtaking views, a walk in Val Venegia is a must: a magical place in every season of the year.
Val Venegia is located in Trentino, within the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural Park, on the border with Veneto. It can be reached both from Predazzo and from San Martino di Castrozza, considering the proximity to the Rolle Pass which connects the two valleys.
An enchanting plain at the foot of the Dolomites, located at about 1700-1800 meters above sea level. The Travignolo torrent flows along the whole valley, which will accompany you on your journey.
The dirt path starts from the Malga Venegia car park, following the signs for Malga Venegiota, where the Pale di San Martino stand out imposingly on the bottom of the valley. Without even realizing it, you will have walked the entire path that leads to the homonymous Malga at 1824 meters, surrounded by trees, pastures, the Travignolo stream and unforgettable views.
