SAN MARCO MOUNTAIN TIPS: Val Canali – Rifugio Pradidali

An excursion to the heart of the Pale di San Martino from Val Canali, a small alpine valley located not far from Fiera di Primiero.

It starts from the restaurant Cant del Gal, taking the CAI 709 path that goes up the valley. The first section is accompanied by the green vegetation and the course of the Canali stream. Slowly, the green thins out and the trace of the path zigzags up among the rocks. It is a path of medium / high difficulty, with its 1100 meters in altitude and a short aided section that in about 3 hours will take you to one of the most beautiful and visited views of the Dolomites.
